How To Live A Balanced Life | Dietless Living

 

If we want to live a balanced life, then we need to balance our emotions instead of anchoring them to food and beverages, instead of divorcing ourselves from them and burying ourselves in "busy" work, instead of running away what we can't run away from - our internal discomfort.
 
I remember when my life was out of balance, when my life was so full it was actually empty and I was using food and beverages as a substitute for everything that was missing. What I really needed - wanted - was someone who understood my situation, someone who actually understood what I was experiencing AND had answers to help me resolve it myself. I wanted someone to walk beside me and help me through it all the way.
 
Living a balanced life is obtainable, even if you're living the most chaotic one right now, there is a way, and it's way easier than you think.

According to NASD, 90% of illnesses and diseases are stress-related that can interfere with your physical functioning and body processes.

We all know that stress makes you put on weight not only from the cortisol that it throws into your system but it also makes you reach for food.

If you manage your stress and if you feel relaxed, you wouldn't be looking for those things to soothe you.

A happy person makes better decisions.

But stress is a part of life. When things don't go the way we plan and things don't work the way want, we get frustrated and it makes us cranky. And it is our job to manage our stress levels and not go straight to frustration.

Do you compare yourself to other people and is your self talk not very complementary?

Would you rather deepen your relationship with yourself and develop greater confidence?

I'd like to talk to you about comparing ourselves to others because we constantly do it as a human being.

Our brain is constantly doing a rough check of every person and everything to see if we're up to scratch.

People nowadays are constantly comparing our bodies to other people because we are impacted by the standard that society has made.

We see other people losing weight more quickly than we are or maybe getting better results than we are and we think we are not doing enough. And then, we start to feel inferior in some way, we become harsh to ourselves.

How fast you can get to your goal is not the measure of success but rather the moment it takes to get there. It's the journey, it's the process!

you show respect to yourself
