"I’m committed to broadcasting a live video every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on social media so that I can support as many people as possible during this time of health crisis, for as long as needed. This is my little way of giving back and helping the community."
I recently got a question saying,
"Katie, why is it easier to create bad habits than creating and sticking to good ones?
That's a pretty fair question, isn't it?
Why is it so hard to create and stick to good habits and very easy to slip or relapse back to the old bad ones?
If you can relate to this, I invite to watch this video I recently made where I talked about this topic.
I just thought it would interest you or you might know someone who will.
If you find this video helpful, please it to your friends, give me a thumbs up so I would know that this content is something you are interested in.
In the meantime, love what you create.
Which one of these do you think is the worst for your health?
Is it;
McDonald's fries every day
Alcohol every day
Chocolate every day or
Stress every day?
According to NASD, 90% of illnesses and diseases are stress-related that can interfere with your physical functioning and body processes.
We all know that stress makes you put on weight not only from the cortisol that it throws into your system but it also makes you reach for food.
If you manage your stress and if you feel relaxed, you wouldn't be looking for those things to soothe you.
A happy person makes better decisions.
But stress is a part of life. When things don't go the way we plan and things don't work the way want, we get frustrated and it makes us cranky. And it is our job to manage our stress levels and not go straight to frustration.
It's all about;
Understanding why you're feeling what your feeling
Become aware of your feelings
Change your return
When you can take charge of your emotions, feelings and, you...
Today, I want to share with you how you can create a big change in your health habits by just dedicating 2 minutes every day + consistency with minimum effort and focused attention to make yourself do exercise.
To maintain great health, you have to be consistent with the maintenance of your body;
keeping it exercised
keeping it moving
keeping it supple
keeping it flexible
keeping it strong
Benefits of consistent movement or exercise help;
build body strength
gives your mind a lift
manage stress
boost positive feelings
To stay consistent with your exercise, you have to have a fail-safe way of doing your exercise.
For me, I have a two-minute rule.
My 2-minute rule says that on the days when I don't feel like doing my exercise, I tell myself,
"Okay, let's just do 2 minutes of exercise."
Why 2 minutes, Katie?
Well, 2 minutes is easy, right?
Everyone has 2 minutes and you don't even need to change your clothes or your shoes to do it. So, you have no excuse.
What I do is I put on...
