It isn't called Dietless Working, it's called Dietless Living®

One of my greatest obstacles that I consistently have to overcome is being a workaholic. It's something I easily fall into but at least these days, working for myself, I can say I do truly enjoy the time I spend working. But hey, my business isn't called Dietless Working, it's called Dietless Living® and it's time to get back to doing the living part.

I love walking but I never know where to find the great walking tracks, but recently I found a great app called All Trails - problem solved!

I've been to Wellington Point many times before, but I never knew there were some lovely wetlands to walk through and I made a 16km walk out it! I didn't see Wonky or any of his mates, they might have had the long weekend off as well....? :-)

I didn’t want to be consumed by thoughts of food!

There was no skating for me on the weekend! I was down in the lab creating a new short online course, Food Is My Friend™! I had such an urge to put together something special for Christmas and kick start 2023’s weight loss and health goals right now I couldn’t tear myself away! 

 

We all want to start the New Year already feeling great, feeling in charge and ready to take on new challenges don’t we?  

 

I remember when I struggled with my weight, I always felt like food was the enemy! Food was this thing I had to have to survive, but it seemed that everything I ate was “bad” for me. You know how it is, you want to lose weight and it doesn’t matter where you look there’s an expert saying what you can or can’t eat to lose weight and more confusing is that they disagree with each other. It truly did my head in!

How can I make exercise easy?

Today I want to talk about how to remove the rules and make it easy for ourselves to move our bodies.

I recently started going to the gym again after many years of just enjoying doing my KT Gym at home.

I to join the gym again as they have machines that can work some muscles in better ways.

I stopped going to gyms over a decade ago though because it was all too hard to manage; packing a bag so I could do it before or after work, having to set aside at least 2 hours of my day to get there, do a work out etc. It was all too arduous on top of hectic work and life schedules it was not something I could maintain.

But now I’ve change the rules that I had about going to gym.

I am now near enough to a gym that I can walk there in my lunch hour and I make it as easy as possible for me to overcome the obstacle of myself so I can go 3 times a week.
